Why should I go to Green Gathering?

At its heart, the Green Gathering is about connection. Connecting with nature, with other people, and with ideas for positive change and more kindness in our world. It's such a friendly and welcoming festival many visitors feel comfortable to go on their own. Festival-goers can expect:

  • Live music and performance across intimate solar‑powered stages, featuring everything from folk and punk to reggae, hip‑hop, DJs, poetry and spoken word.
  • Workshops, talks and skills‑sharing, covering topics such as permaculture, renewable energy, crafts, well-being, social justice and climate action.
  • Creative spaces and markets, including handmade crafts, ethical traders and community stalls, alongside fully vegetarian, vegan and gluten free food stalls, with organic, locally sourced produce where possible.
  • A strong family focus, with a dedicated kids’ area, family camping and activities for all ages, making it an inclusive festival for all ages.
  • Safe spaces, as accessible as possible for everyone, the Healing Circle for recouperation, tranquility and calm.

The atmosphere is often described as relaxed, friendly and thoughtful. Imagine a magical place to dance late into the night, and wake up inspired to make a continuing difference when you go home.
