For a dog-friendly cottage in Eryri, take a look at Ty’r Adar. It's right next to the traffic-free Mawddach Trail along a beautiful estuary between Dolgellau and the coast at Abermaw (Barmouth). The spacious cottage sleeps four, has a cosy wood burning stove and is full of character. The owners can put you in touch with a dog sitter if required.

West Wales is known for its wide sandy beaches, charming countryside, colourful villages and cultural cities. It’s a haven for pet owners looking for a holiday destination that caters to their canine companions, with excellent walks in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and the Penrhyn Gŵyr (the Gower Peninsula) National Landscape.

Fron Fawr's collection of cottages (2 to 4 bedrooms) is the perfect base for exploring the nearby Teifi Valley or dog-friendly attractions in Pembrokeshire. Set within 32 acres of fields and woodland, there are fabulous dark sky views and plenty of paths to explore. Each cottage has an enclosed garden with a lawn or patio so your dog can roam outside. For a peaceful retreat on a working farm, head to Sealands Farm Cottages. Each luxury cottage (sleeps 2-4) is dog and human friendly, with an enclosed garden and a hot tub. It's just a short walk to the stunning Glamorgan Heritage Coast and Dunraven Bay. Nearby Porthcawl is a perfect spot for watersports or a traditional seaside day out.

Whitehill Farm Cottage (sleeps 6) is an enchanting, ancient barn on a working farm, renovated to a high standard. Eco-friendly Wildmeadow Cottage (sleeps 7) is exquisite - a timber-built hideaway nestled amongst orchards and meadows. It's a peaceful spot to re-charge yourselves in the countryside. Visitors can pick fresh vegetables from the kitchen garden or venture to Llanandras (Presteigne), a traditional market town, for supplies. The downstairs bedroom is accessible. Up to two dogs are welcome.

Just 1.5 miles from the coast, Neuadd Farm's group of character-filled cottages (sleeps 4 - 20) is ideal for a family or couples get away. Children will adore meeting the farm animals, which include alpacas, donkeys and sheep. There's an outdoor heated swimming pool, a tennis court, and plenty of space to roam around the colourful gardens and lake. Pets are allowed in Dairy and Hayloft.

It has a downstairs room with an accessible wetroom. The fully enclosed garden allows your dog (or cat!) to run around while you stargaze or enjoy the vast countryside views.
