About Bodnant Estate - Tŷ Ucha'r Ffordd
Ty Ucha’r Ffordd, sleeps 2 plus 1 child, is a pretty stone cottage, standing in a secluded position above the Eglwysbach valley, with spectacular views of pastoral and wooded landscape framed by a panorama of the Carneddau mountains of Snowdonia National Park.
Although the cottage is compact, it has been sympathetically extended to provide generous openings between the main rooms. It also has the unusual feature of a small cabin bed (1615mm x 890mm), suitable for young children.
The cottage has been delightfully furnished throughout and decorated in a traditional style. Highlights include oak flooring throughout the sitting room and the kitchen / dining room; a Shaker-style kitchen; and a bathroom with perhaps the finest view from a bath in North Wales!
Outside the kitchen there is a terraced area with fine views.
The spacious bathroom has a separate shower and a bathtub.

The Bodnant Estate Holiday lets are the perfect place to stay if you are thinking of visiting the Bodnant Garden, owned by the National Trust (open all year round). It is world famous for its laburnum arch, grand Italianate terraces, streams, waterfalls and views, and its National Collections of plants, including rhododendrons and magnolias. You can purchase unusual shrubs and other plants from the Bodnant Garden Centre. Also, Discover the true taste of Wales at Bodnant Welsh Food Centre, in a spectacular setting on the River Conwy with the Carneddau mountains of Snowdonia beyond.
The estate provides an ideal base for exploring the magnificent scenery and many attractions and activities offered by North Wales. Nearby is the elegant seaside resort (Llandudno); sandy beaches (Colwyn Bay and Penmaenmawr); a medieval walled town (Conwy); theatres (Llandudno and Colwyn Bay); and numerous castles (Conwy, Caernarfon, Beaumaris, Harlech, Dolwydelan, Penrhyn) and houses (Gwydir, Plas Newydd, Plas Mawr).
