We are a small, family-run vineyard based between the beautiful Usk and Wye Valleys in Raglan, Monmouthshire. The Dell farm has been in the family for five generations and this is our diversification project.
Dan left the farm for art college and worked in Graphic Design for 15 years before looking for a new adventure. Lucy continues to work as an Intensive Care Nurse, balancing life in the vineyard with a career in healthcare.
Established in 2021, we began by leasing a 22-year-old vineyard nearby before planting our own three acres at The Dell the following year. Our initial plantings of Pinot Noir and Solaris were followed by a further two acres of Souvignier Gris, Cabernet Noir and Pinot Meunier, selected to suit both site and climate.
We have open days during the spring/summer on the first Saturday of each month and bank holiday weekends, which have food pop-ups and live music.
We are open to the public most weekends and run vineyard tours and tastings which can be booked online. You’ll explore our diverse vines, take in the stunning views and gain insight into cool climate winemaking. After the tour, we’ll welcome you back to our cellar door for a guided wine tasting of a selection of our Welsh wines. Priced at £20 per person.
Looking for a private vineyard tour? We are happy to arrange bespoke vineyard tours and wine tastings at a time that suits you. This is perfect for Special occasions, Stag and hen parties, corporate events, and larger group bookings. Get in touch and we’ll tailor a vineyard experience just for you.
