About Preseli Venture - Geodesic Dome

GEODESIC GLAMPING DOME AT PRESELI GLAMPING

Tucked away in a secluded woodland clearing at the foot of a rolling wildflower and sapling meadow, the Geodesic Glamping Dome at Preseli Glamping offers a truly unique escape on the Pembrokeshire Coast. Set within ancient woodland just a short walk from Abermawr Beach and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, this beautifully crafted hemispherical wood-and-canvas structure blends luxury with an off-grid, back-to-nature experience.

Elevated on a solid wooden platform and positioned beneath a canopy of tall, twisting trees, the dome features a striking bay window that brings the outside in—perfect for watching shifting light through the leaves by day and stargazing by night. Inside, warm lighting, soft furnishings and a crackling wood-burning stove create a cosy, inviting space to unwind after a day exploring the coast.

Sleeping up to four guests, the dome includes a comfortable double bed, a single bed and a fold-out single sofa bed, making it ideal for couples, small families or friends seeking a peaceful retreat immersed in nature.

Step outside and you’ll find your own private outdoor space immersed in birdsong and designed for relaxation. Stretch out on sun loungers, gather around the fire pit as evening falls, or cook over the separate fire bowl with grill. A picnic table provides the perfect spot for slow breakfasts, woodland lunches or relaxed evening meals under the trees. There is also space nearby for a small pup tent if older children would like their own sleeping area.

Positioned in the pitch known as Harbour Porpoise, the dome enjoys a particularly tranquil setting. Sheltered from coastal breezes by the surrounding woodland, this hidden suntrap feels wonderfully private—an ideal place to switch off, reconnect and fully absorb the rhythm of the natural world.

While the dome offers a sense of seclusion, guests still benefit from the excellent shared facilities across the Preseli Glamping site, including modern bathrooms with hot power showers, dishwashing areas with hot water, and a Wi-Fi hub located near the car park.
