Glandyfi Castle is a Grade II listed, exclusive use self-catering castle near Machynlleth in Ceredigion, Wales. Sleeping up to 22 guests across 11 bedrooms, 9 have their own private bathroom and 2 share a Jack and Jill suite. Your group has the house and grounds to yourselves for the length of your stay.
Inside, there are a range of elegant and relaxed spaces, including a Games Room, Media Room, Library, Billiards Room, Drawing Room, spacious kitchen and the impressive Grand Atrium dining room. The Atrium seats 22 for dining and can be reconfigured for up to 50 guests, which works well for weddings and larger gatherings. Outside, around 40 acres of grounds, an outdoor hot tub, woodland walk and estuary views give you space to unwind.
Glandyfi Castle is an approved licensed wedding venue with Ceredigion County Council, so couples can hold their ceremony and celebration in one place. As a self-catering venue, Glandyfi Castle works with a small number of trusted private chefs and local suppliers, so you can keep things simple or build a fully catered stay around your plans. Well behaved dogs are welcome too, so you can bring them along on your trip.
The castle is close to coastal towns such as Aberdyfi and Aberystwyth, and just a 10 minute drive from the market town of Machynlleth, host of the renowned Machynlleth Comedy Festival each May.
