14 state-of-the-art break-out / rehearsal studios add to the College's many features, two of which are housed within its historic Anthony Hopkins Centre (the original Cardiff Castle stables) which also has a stunning open-air courtyard. A very impressive tree-lined avenue provides the entrance for delegates and guests to the Anthony Hopkins Centre with Cardiff Castle in view.

At the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, event organisers are supported by an extensive team providing the highest standards of professional event planning, experienced technical support, fine quality catering, welcoming customer care and star performance talent.
As well as specialist audio-visual, lighting, sound, film and audio recording services, our professional in-house technical team and fully-equipped facilities offer 21st century hybrid events so both virtual and on-site guests can attend - helping you to reach beyond, extend your message, reduce travel costs and meet your environmental responsibilities. Our highly-skilled technicians and our experienced in-house event management team will help you plan and run the day. All our venues offer free Wi-Fi.

As a creative venue, we assist in making events stand out. Our Hire a Performer Scheme means we can arrange for singers to perform before guests, a trumpet fanfare to signal the opening of conferences, a pianist to play during drinks receptions and jazz or classical music ensembles to create a sophisticated atmosphere during dinner. These can perform both at the College and at external dinner venue.

Our beautiful park location within a short walk from the centre of the capital city of Cardiff creates a unique offering for delegates, guests and visitors. As well as magnificent shopping centres, Victorian arcades, historic theatres, contemporary cinemas, museums and a dramatic waterfront, Cardiff hosts the full range of overnight accommodation options – from luxury hotels to independently-run boutique guest houses to budget providers.

The college is a member of ‘Meet In Cardiff’ which means that event organisers can access a dedicated, online accommodation service at very competitive rates in the city’s hotels and guest houses for over 100 delegates, staff to welcome delegates at Cardiff airport and train station, city centre signage to publicise events, informal guides and bespoke cultural packages for delegates and guests wishing to extend their visit to Wales.
