About Lake Yurt, Go Eco Glamping
Go Eco Glamping is a unique glamping experience in a wildlife haven, perfect for romantic and wellness breaks or just relaxing in nature. We are completely off grid, with our own solar energy, water borehole and water treatment plant. Our 3 yurts are widely spaced in a wildflower meadow, which slopes down to a small lake and stream, with woodland and wetland areas. The different habitats are home to a diverse range of plants, insects, birds and animals - perfect for wildlife spotting or photography. Our dark skies are fantastic for star gazing.
You are welcome to explore our 5 acre site, paddle in the stream, use our pedalo to explore the lake or just enjoy sitting by the lake and the stream.
Lake Yurt is very private, situated at the bottom of the wildflower meadow, looking out over the lake. It is a traditional 6 metre Mongolian Yurt, with beautiful traditional painted woodwork. The private bathroom and fully equipped kitchen are on the same raised deck, with a wood fired hot tub accessed off the deck. It is luxurious: with a comfortable king size bed, log burner and sofa, indoor and outdoor dining areas and a Kadai firepit with grill and skillet for outdoor cooking, next to a small herb bed. It features handmade mosaics, created at Go Eco.
We provide bedlinen, towels, eco toiletries and a welcome basket of logs. The kitchen has basic supplies - condiments, oil, tea, coffee, sugar and we supply milk from a local dairy on request. Each yurt also has sun loungers, a torch and umbrella, yoga mats, a picnic blanket, binoculars and books to help you identify birds, plants and animals, an art set, sketchbook and mindful colouring book as well as games.
We are between the sea and the mountains in beautiful West Wales, just 20 minutes by car from the stunning Ceredigion coast with its fabulous beaches and pretty seaside towns
