Choose from half-day canoe trips, full-day canoe trips and tailor-made multi-day canoeing expeditions, with options for families, couples, groups, schools, beginners and experienced paddlers. Based at Glasbury, at the foot of the Black Mountains, we are well placed for memorable paddling routes through the Wye Valley. Our team will help you get set up, advise you before you launch and collect you at the other end, so you can enjoy your time on the river with confidence. We also work with schools and groups, with an AALA licence, experienced guides and outdoor education opportunities on the River Wye.

About Wye Valley Canoes

Wye Valley Canoes, established in 1968, offers canoe hire and kayak hire on the River Wye from Glasbury, near Hay-on-Wye. We were one of the first companies to launch boats on the River Wye, and we continue to help families, couples, groups, schools and experienced paddlers enjoy this much-loved stretch of water.

Choose from half-day canoe trips, full-day canoe trips and tailor-made multi-day canoeing expeditions, including longer journeys for paddlers who want to take on more of the River Wye. Based at Glasbury, at the foot of the Black Mountains, we are well placed for memorable paddling routes through the Wye Valley.
