Waymarked trails for walking and mountain biking set off from several car parks within the forest park.

The Afan Valley is a former coal mining area, and you can discover some of its heritage features along the trails.

The walking trails range from short riverside strolls to longer walks with panoramic views.

There is a choice of mountain bike trails from easy options for families and beginners to challenging, longer routes for proficient riders.
The Afan Skills Park has technical features including jumps and step-downs where experienced mountain bike riders can hone their skills.
