About Hide at St Donats

Unique, peaceful, luxury on the Glamorgan Heritage Coastline. Explore a stunning part of the Welsh coast from six carefully crafted accommodation with an infectious appreciation of local culture, history and art creating a perfect retreat for relaxation. The six accommodations have their own individual style and space. ‘Tresilian Wood’ is the name of hide’s site with its small arboretum occupying seven and a half acres adjacent to St. Donats Castle.
The Pavilion, with its 5-meter window revealing an expansive view of the Jurassic coastline. The Walden Lodge with commissioned art depicting a strong connection to Welsh migration. These are the larger accommodations.
Also hides three romantic snug cabans are tucked between trees, bushes and wildflowers offering uninterrupted views of the wild seas, whilst the Bugail hut is hiding in the arboretum. Our wish is for you to see, feel and be immersed in Wales, with visible reminders of myths, history, poetry and art.
St Donats is a tiny village in the Vale of Glamorgan, just 25 minutes from the Welsh Capital. An area steeped in history.
