About Tenby South Beach

A gently sloping expanse of sand that stretches to Penally in the east and as the tide retreats it is possible to walk to Castle beach in the west. An excellent view out to Caldey and St. Margarets Islands can be had from here. Family beach orientated activities are often held here during the summer months. Watersports are also very popular as the seas are generally calm.
Blue Flag beach. Dog restrictions apply to the beach below the cliffs, east of the beach car park/café 1 May to 30 September. Lifeguard service provided 10:00 - 18:00 19 - 22 April 2019, weekends and Bank Holiday only 4 to 19 May and daily 25 May to 1 September.
