From 19th November 2026 until 3rd January 2027 the ultimate winter experience will return to Swansea Waterfront including an ice rink, live music and events, fun fair attractions, and the Alpine Village food and drink area.
About Swansea Winter Wonderland
Swansea Winter Wonderland is a popular annual attraction that offers a variety of festive activities and entertainment for visitors of all ages.
Ice Rink and Ice skating: one of the main highlights of Swansea Waterfront Winterland is the sheltered ice rink. It is a large outdoor ice-skating rink, with covered areas and indoor seating areas, where people can have fun gliding on the ice with friends and family. Skates are available for rent, and little skating buddies are also available to give younger and novice skaters some extra support and confidence on the ice. Prices start from just £10.
Fairground rides: Whether you're looking for thrills on the Moondancer, spinning excitement on the Sizzler, or want to take in the panoramic view from the Big Wheel, there's fairground fun for all to enjoy:
- Thrill rides – test your nerve on Ice Jet, Stratos-fear, and King Sizzler on Ice.
- Traditional rides – take a ride on the Penguin Dodgems, Pirate Ship, and the Teacups.
- Fairground fun – explore the fun house or try your luck at the game stalls.
- Ice Maze – embrace the chill as you explore the ice maze.
- Food and drink – warm up with bratwurst from the swing grill or grab some roasted marshmallows or a hot chocolate from the Alpine Bar.
Alpine Village Food and Drink: offering a range of delicious treats, from hot chocolate and mulled wine to festive pastries and savoury snacks.
Live Music and Events: From live music to meet-and-greets with your favourite characters, there's plenty of exciting events all winter long:
