About Cardiff Food Tours - Loving Welsh Food
"Loving Welsh Food" is the first and only company offering food tours in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
Whether you’re local or visiting, our tours bring new discoveries, great company and a chance to truly connect with Wales’ food, history and culture. From Welshcakes and bara brith to wines, ciders and international food, our tours provide you with a true taste of Wales.
We offer a variety of tours ranging from 2-5 hours to 5 hours in length and you'll learn a few words of Welsh along the way. If you are a group and would like book an exclusive tour, all tours can be arranged privately.
Loving Welsh Food's goal is to create delicious, different and entertaining days out where everyone has an opportunity to discover Welsh cuisine and gain an insight into Wales' food heritage, its people, culture and traditions. We work with independent businesses and show you the best places to eat, drink and shop.
All of our Loving Welsh Food guides are local, and love sharing their own personal stories on the tours. All tours can be booked in English, Welch, French, Italian, Spanish and German.
Children aged 12+ accompanied by a responsible adult are welcome to join the City of Arcades Food Experience and Welsh Food Tour. Children aged 8+ are welcome to join the Cardiff Tasting Tour. Due to space limitations, we can’t accommodate pushchairs on our scheduled tours. However, if you wish to bring children aged under 8, toddlers or babies please get in touch to discuss booking a private tour.
