Join us for a Loving Welsh Food tour to discover Cardiff one bite, sip and story at a time. All of our tours are led by local guides who love sharing Wales through its flavours.
Along the way, you’ll get to know Welsh culture through local food, language, stories and the people who bring Cardiff’s food scene to life. Depending on the tour you choose, you might enjoy Welshcakes, bara brith, Welsh wines and ciders, local favourites and international flavours, while exploring Cardiff’s markets, arcades and independent food businesses.
All of our delicious, relaxed and entertaining tours are led by local Welsh-speaking guides. Whether you are visiting Wales for the first time, showing friends around Cardiff or looking for a different day out, our tours are a sociable way to taste, explore and connect with Cardiff.
Tours range from around 2.5 to 5 hours, and private tours can be arranged for groups. You will learn a few Welsh words along the way, hear personal stories from your guide and discover places to eat, drink and shop.
Tours can be booked in English, Welsh, French, Italian and German. Children aged 12 and over are welcome on the City of Arcades Food Experience while children aged 8 and over can join the Cardiff Tasting Tour. Scheduled tours cannot accommodate pushchairs, but families with younger children are welcome to contact us about a private tour.
