Dogs are of course welcome at all of our properties.
The Gardens and Oak Collection, which has some 300 cultivars of Oak including the Royal Oak Collection, are open to the public by appointment only. Groups are welcome for tours and lunch. Visiting members of the Royal Family as far back as 1800s have planted Oaks the latest being HM The Queen in July 2012 and HRH Prince of Wales in July 2019.

The Estate has 5 miles of private river, one and a half miles of double bank Usk fishing, offering the visiting angler wonderful opportunities for both Brown Trout and Atlantic Salmon. Access to water is good with well-maintained banks and some croys from which to fish. Glanusk offers exclusive fishing breaks and has a resident ghillie who is on hand should you require guidance or instruction.

Derived from the Welsh name "Afon Wysg" (literally meaning "river abounding in fish"), the Usk starts in Mid Wales, initially flowing in an easterly direction to the north of the picturesque Brecon Beacons, before taking a more southerly course to join the Bristol Channel at Newport.

Glanusk Park and Estate is privately owned by the Legge-Bourke family. It is situated in the beautiful countryside of the Usk Valley, Crickhowell, South Wales in the Brecon Beacons National Park and is one of the largest privately-owned estates in Wales.
