About Deeside Leisure Centre
Deeside Leisure Centre is a regional sports facility in Queensferry, Flintshire and is home to several visitor attractions including the only ice arena in North Wales, a large indoor inflatable park and an indoor skate park.
The leisure centre's other services include Afon Spa, a 100+ station fitness suite, an 8-court sports hall, squash courts, outdoor 3G sports pitches, a café and Deeside Library.
Deeside Ice Arena
Aura’s Olympic-sized Ice Pad re-opened following refurbishment in December 2022 much to the delight of our loyal skating community.
The Ice Arena offers multiple sessions for all age groups including public skating, patch ice, ice skating lessons and discos on ice. With skate hire and skating aids available, together with our rink-side snack bar, it is a day out that can be enjoyed by the whole family. And, if ice hockey is your sport, come down and cheer on our home team, the Deeside Dragons, who compete in the National Ice Hockey League (Division 1 North).

Inflatable Park
Bounce through life at North Wales’s largest indoor inflatable park where family fun is guaranteed.
Aura’s inflatable park offers a variety of one-hour sessions for all ages at our unique 460m² venue. With features that include an Air Mountain, 360° Slide, Drop Slide and Stepping Stones you’ll need plenty of energy to navigate this monster-sized facility!
Sessions are available for Parents and Toddlers (2-7 years), Juniors and Little Bouncers (3-15 years) and even Big Kids (16 years and over), plus we accommodate Nerf Wars sessions, children’s parties and private group bookings.

Skate Park
Welcome to North Wales’s largest indoor skate park, the exhilarating home for the region’s skateboarders, BMX and scooter riders and in-line skaters.
Boasting features that include a Street Plaza, Resi Section, Vert, Quarter Pipe and Mini Ramp our skate park is the natural venue for those seeking an adrenaline rush.
Open sessions are available for Juniors, Adults and Women and Girls Only, plus we offer skateboarding lessons and private group bookings.

Please note that for safety reasons all users under the age of 18 years must wear a helmet at all times whilst using the skate park. Children under the age of 8 years must be accompanied by an adult within the skate park at all times.

Coffi Aura
Our Coffee Shop - Coffi Aura - is situated close to our three main visitor attractions of the Ice Arena, Inflatable Park and Skate Park on the ground floor at Deeside Leisure Centre.
Serving Lavazza coffee and a wide selection of snacks and treats, Coffi Aura presents the perfect opportunity to take a pause and recover from the exertions of your chosen activity. The adjoining library provides even more chance to relax with a coffee and a good book.
Outdoor 3G Sports Pitches
Our 3G sports pitches are situated at the rear of Deeside Leisure Centre and include six caged pitches and a larger 7-a-side surface.
We are exceptionally proud of the Aura Football programme we have developed and our dedicated team of coaches has worked incredibly hard to create a fantastic brand, a feat recognised at the 2020 and 2022 Football Association of Wales / McDonalds Grassroots Football Awards where we were named the North East Wales Fun Football Provider of the Year.
Aura Football programmes are inclusive and are open to boys and girls of all abilities aged 2½ to 11 years. Our aim is to provide young players with an opportunity to develop and to learn new skills in a fun and friendly environment, all under the guidance of our fully qualified and DBS verified coaches.

Gym and Fitness
Welcome to Deeside’s gym! From strength training to cardiovascular to core to functional - we have it all.
Our fully qualified fitness instructors are here to guide you through your gym experience, whatever your goals. They will tailor workout programmes to meet your individual needs and guide you through them with expert and safe instruction, followed by regular reviews as you progress and start to see results.
We also offer an extensive range of group exercise classes to help you achieve your fitness goals. Our classes are fun, motivating and engaging and add a little variety to your work out.
