About Cardigan Bay Watersports
New Quay’s sheltered water is a natural home for water based activities and Cardigan Bay Watersports Centre provides high quality experiences and a good range of up to date equipment.
The Centre has developed a wide range of watersport activities and training programmes to meet the needs of a wide variety of users, including schools, clubs, businesses and a range of residents and visitors to the area. You will be able to learn the basics or develop your skills in wonderful surroundings under the guidance of expert staff.
Cardigan Bay Watersports is an established member of the water sports scene in Wales. It has a continuing collaboration with New Quay Yacht Club and provides training opportunities for nearby clubs such as Tresaith Mariners and Aberystwyth University sailing club and has a strong relationship with RYA Cymru.

KEELBOAT, POWERBOAT OR CATAMARAN SAILING
Essential Navigation & Seamanship course offers a great introduction to navigation and safety awareness for new or inexperienced skippers and crew, and those wanting to refresh their skills. Taster sessions and RYA Powerboat 2 courses.
Taster sessions, courses and hire.
Hire, taster session or coastal tour kayaking on the sea is great fun.

Not every one wants to do a formal course Cardigan Bay Watersports offer some instructor-led fun sessions using kayaks and/or paddleboards, play games and have races. Numbers are limited to a 6:1 ratio of kids to instructor to make it safe and manageable. This often means the sessions are booked up early so don't leave it to the last minute!
