About Aberystwyth Golf Club

Established in 1911, the historic Aberystwyth Golf Club is a 6,119 yard, Par 70 course designed by the great Harry Vardon, providing a challenging test for even the best golfers. Standing the test of time, this course has been carefully maintained to keep the historic values close to heart whilst adopting a modern sustainable approach to our greenkeeping.
The sensational backdrop of Cardigan Bay with views to Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula in the North, and the Preseli Mountains of Pembrokeshire to the South, will ensure that a round of golf at Aberystwyth will stay with you forever. If the views alone don’t ensure that you come back time and again, the warm welcome and generous hospitality certainly will.
Our new caterer, Luffs Café and catering serves delicious coffee, cake, lunches and Sunday roasts throughout the week. Alongside this, we have a fully licenced bar and a spacious function room to cater for large parties, so please email or phone to enquire.

The course is located next to the University town of Aberystwyth, providing an abundance of amenities for any golfer enjoying an over-night golf trip or a leisurely day out.

The 'Aberystwyth Golf Experience' is one not to be missed. So, whether it’s a round of golf or just a casual drink, we are sure that you will enjoy your time at Aberystwyth so much you will be back again.
