Y Llofft Stabl at Cambrian Cottages is a warm and welcoming eco-friendly self-catering apartment in rural Carmarthenshire, near Pencader, sleeping up to four guests. Set within a restored Victorian barn around 12 miles north of Carmarthen, it offers a peaceful valley setting, dark skies and easy access to Brechfa Forest, the Cambrian Mountains and the wider landscapes of West Wales.

Y Llofft Stabl, the Stable Loft, combines traditional character with modern comfort and accommodates up to four guests across two bedrooms. Slightly larger than Y Llofft Wair, it has a more separated bedroom layout and a second bedroom with two full-size single beds, making it particularly well suited to adults, older children, friends travelling together, or small families. Located above Y Cwt Mochyn, it is best suited to considerate guests seeking a peaceful countryside stay.

The fully equipped kitchen includes an induction hob, oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and a complimentary welcome pack. Guests can relax on the sofa, enjoy meals around the table, or spend cosy evenings by the wood-burning stove with Freesat, Disney+ or one of the board games provided.

The apartment includes a king-size bed with natural fillings as well as a pair of full-size single beds suitable for children or adults. All bed linen is provided. The bathroom includes a large walk-in shower, with towels and toiletries provided for guests' use.

For longer stays or remote working, the kitchen table offers a useful workspace with power points, and 4G Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment. Mobile coverage is normally good on most networks, and Wi-Fi or Zoom calls can be made from the apartment.

Dogs are welcome by arrangement in advance. Guests are asked to bring their own pet bedding, towels and bowls, and pets should be kept off the furniture and on a lead around the property.

Y Llofft Stabl is well suited to walkers and cyclists, with hooks and a boot tray by the door, a drying area in the barn, space to hose down muddy boots, bikes and paws, and secure storage in the barn for bikes and outdoor gear. Guests can also enjoy the enclosed garden with outdoor seating area and fire pit, together with views across the fields and surrounding countryside.

Free parking is available next to the apartment, and guests can also use the on-site EV charging point. Both the north and south coast beaches can be reached within around 40 minutes.
