About Tintern Abbey Cottage
A picture‑postcard 18th century stone cottage in Tintern, directly across the road from Tintern Abbey with uninterrupted views. We are especially suitable for honeymoons and significant birthdays as our setting is wonderfully romantic as well as suitable for family holidays!
The cottage sleeps 6 in three flexible bedrooms, each of which can be set up as a 6 ft super king or as a pair of 3 ft twin beds by arrangement. There are two sparkling modern bathrooms, both with showers over bath - one is a whirlpool bath.
Find a well equipped kitchen, wood burner, range cooker, 37" TV plus additional TVs, and superfast broadband Wi‑Fi.
Full Central heating to 21C is provided year round and included in the rental. Bedlinen, towels, tea towels etc are all included.
Outside there is an enclosed rear garden, barbecue, garden furniture and games, along with private off‑road parking for about four cars, an electric car charger and a lockable cycle store for up to five bikes. The rear garden is fully enclosed and up to 2 family pets are welcome. The front garden is unfenced due to the amazing Abbey view.
Pubs, restaurants, a grocery and craft store, several wedding venues, and the river are all within strolling distance, with the Wye Valley Walk, Offa’s Dyke and the Monmouthshire Way close by.
There is a bus stop at the bottom of the drive making it easy to travel to Monmouth or Chepstow and walk back along the river.
