The space
Beautifully refurbished while preserving the character of a Traditional Welsh Cottage, this two-bedroom mountain retreat blends heritage charm with modern comfort.
The open-plan kitchen and lounge are framed by uninterrupted mountain views from every window, complemented by a working wood burner for cosy evenings and a large Smart TV for relaxed nights after exploring Snowdonia.
Sleeping arrangements include one inviting double bedroom and a custom-built adult-sized bunk room with built-in TVs, comfortably suited to couples, friends or small families. Fresh linen and towels are provided for a seamless stay.
A private front entrance allows easy, independent access, with off-street parking for two vehicles included.
Outside, a small front garden seating area offers a quiet place for morning coffee while the mountains slowly come to life.
Set in the charming village of Tanygrisiau, the cottage enjoys direct access to scenic walking routes, mountain biking and climbing trails. Nearby attractions include Zip World Slate Caverns, Llechwedd Slate Caverns and the historic Ffestiniog Railway.
