About Hide at St Donats

Hide is a small coastal retreat at St Donats on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, with design-led self catering Lodges, Caban and a Shepherds hut. Sea views, woodland and local stories create a calm place to slow down and sleep well.

The Pavilion offers peaceful coastal living with a wide window framing the Jurassic coastline, while Walden Lodge is an artful sanctuary surrounded by trees and light both sleep a maximum of four guests, children of 12 years and above. For romantic seclusion, the snug Caban looks out to the wild Welsh sea, and the Bugail Hut is a handcrafted shepherd’s hut set among wildflowers in the arboretum both accommodations for adults only.

Choose sea views from your bed or a more hidden spot in the trees, with thoughtful interiors, stoves or fire pits and cliff walks from the door. Quiet, atmospheric spaces for guests who want to switch off and stay close to nature.
