About The Owls B&B

The Owls provides Bed and Breakfast accommodation in six comfortable rooms in the centre of the town of Builth Wells.  The Owls is simple and quirky.  We are only a five minute walk from The Royal Welsh Showground which hosts events most months of the year.  Builth Wells is recognised as a crossroads and it can be considered on the way to everywhere.

There is a car park at the rear of the building accessed from Market Street and a lock-up shed for cycles with an electric charging point.   We have ample parking for cars and Motor Bikes.

The Owls welcomes visitors, walkers, cyclists, motor bikers and participants in various sports from all over the world as the area hosts a variety of events and sports.  We also have the wonderful Wyeside Theatre with an exciting programme of Live performances.  There are many significant events in area including The Royal Welsh Show in July, The Hay Festival in May and Man V Horse in June to name but three.

There are interesting shops and cafes to explore and eateries on the High Street.  During the warmer, longer evenings you can take some fish and chips and sit on the benches in Groe Park watching the River Wye gently flow by.  Here of course you can gaze at our handsome much painted and photographed bridge.

We offer vegetarian and vegan breakfasts with an eye on healthy eating with locally sourced sausages and bacon for the traditionalists.  We will always try to help with special dietary requirements. Please mention these when booking.

We look forward to welcoming you to the glorious countryside in the Heart of Mid Wales.
