Tenby Adventure offers guided coasteering and sea kayaking along the Pembrokeshire Coast, operating from Tenby and the local area within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Activities explore a rugged limestone shoreline shaped by Atlantic swell, with sea caves, natural gullies, tidal channels, and sheltered bays that change with conditions.
All sessions are led by experienced local guides with detailed knowledge of the coastline, tides, and weather. Groups are kept small so activities can be adapted to the conditions and the abilities of the group, with a strong emphasis on safety, clear instruction, and enjoyment. The coastline is rich in wildlife, and encounters with seals are common throughout the season.
Coasteering involves swimming, scrambling, and optional jumps, allowing participants to move through the coastal environment in a hands-on way. Sea kayaking provides a calmer but equally immersive experience, suitable for exploring cliffs, caves, and quieter sections of coast. No previous experience is required for either activity, and sessions are suitable for beginners, families, and small groups, subject to age limits and sea conditions.
All specialist equipment is provided, including wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets, and kayaks where applicable. Activities run seasonally and are planned around tides and weather to ensure safe and enjoyable conditions. Clear pre-session information is provided so participants know what to expect and how to prepare.
