About Weaving at Trefriw Woollen Mills
Weaving can be viewed from 17th February -18th December 2020, Monday - Friday (except Bank Holidays) 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Additonal machinery (carding engines, spinning mules, doubling and hanking machines and warping mill) can be viewed from 6th April 2020 - 30th October 2020, Monday - Friday (except Bank Holidays) 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Rag rug making is demonstrated on Tuesdays, and hand spinning on Wednesday and Thursdays from Spring Bank Holiday - end September. Please telephone on the day if travelling far.
The Weaver's Garden (June - September) contains labelled plants associated with textiles (i.e. they supply fibres, natural dyes, soaps, moth repellents or textile tools).
Our Welsh tapestry bedspreads, travelling rugs and tweeds plus soft furnishings and accessories made up in our fabrics are available in our shop (open all year, Mon - Sat except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day and Sundays from 24th May - 27th September 2020)
