Spend days visiting the market towns of Carmarthen and Laugharne, which was home to the famous Welsh poet, Dylan Thomas, and is renowned for its iconic boat house, historic castle, and traditional Welsh pubs where fresh fish is always on the menu. Less than a 30-minute drive away are the coastal resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot, offering sandy beaches, boutique-style shops and thrilling leisure parks, including Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm. Also, worth a visit and nearby are the popular attractions of New Quay for dolphin watch and boat trips, Pembrey Country Park, Dinosaur Park, Skandavale, Carmarthen Bay Ferry, Millennium Coastal Park, Pembrokeshire Paragliding, Gwilli steam railway, Cenarth Falls and Aberglasney Gardens. Carmarthenshire is renowned for being the cycling hub of Wales, and for keen cyclists, the National Cycle Route 47 starting at Newport and finishing at Fishguard, goes all along the boundary and entrance of the property.
