About St Davids Day at Southstack Lighthouse

A Special Opening for St Davids Day

St David’s Day, celebrated on 1 March, is a time to honour Welsh culture, language, and heritage, and it is marked with pride across Wales.

 At South Stack on Anglesey, the day feels especially meaningful, with the dramatic coastline and historic lighthouse standing as powerful symbols of the nation’s resilience. The sound of waves crashing against the cliffs and the sight of seabirds circling overhead reflect the deep connection between the Welsh people and their natural landscape.

The lighthouse and Island will be open weahther permitting on Sunday 1st March 10:30 – 16:30, with last entry for the tour at 15:45. Kiosk and shop will be open 10:30 – 15:30

Come and enjoy a family day out with Free Entry and a St David’s Day Button Badge for all children. (Normal admission apply for adults)
