St Davids Day at Dinefwr

Marsden, children and families can explore the birds that appear in Welsh tales such as the Mabinogion, then choose one that feels personal to them. Using recycled and reused materials, you’ll craft your own wearable creation, from wings to masks, bringing your chosen bird to life in a fun, imaginative way.

The day will also feature a live choir, filling the beautiful surroundings with music and adding to the festive, community feel of this St David’s Day gathering, outside the takeaway cafe at 1.30pm.

This free public workshop takes place at Llandyfeisant Church, the historic estate church on the Dinefwr grounds, a unique and atmospheric setting for a day of making, music and celebration.
