St David’s Day Concert at the Cathedral

The St David’s Celebration Concert at St Davids Cathedral on Friday 27 February 2026 is set to be a highlight of this year’s St David’s Day festivities, drawing music lovers and community members together in the cathedral’s historic nave. The event features performances by The Band of the Prince of Wales alongside the British Army Band Tidworth, offering an exceptional evening of music that blends traditional Welsh hymns, marches and anthems with stirring contemporary pieces.

Doors for the concert open at 19:00, with music beginning at 19:30 and running until approximately 21:30, giving audiences an immersive experience in the rich cultural heritage of Wales’s patron saint, St David. This concert is presented in partnership with the Army Benevolent Fund and the St Davids Cathedral Festival, with a suggested donation encouraged to support both veterans and the ongoing cultural programmes at the cathedral.

The concert is free to attend with a reserveable ticket, making it accessible to all ages and backgrounds, and promises two 40-minute performance sets with a short interval in between.
