Bala Lake Railway is a brilliant place to celebrate St David’s Day, offering a warm Welsh welcome and a chance to enjoy one of the most scenic heritage railways in the country. Set on the edge of Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake), the railway combines the charm of vintage narrow-gauge steam trains with breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. It’s a relaxed and family-friendly day out, perfect for marking the occasion while soaking up a little Welsh culture and countryside.

There will be free travel if you live in North Wales and a reduced fare for everyone else;

Tickets will need to booked online, and the discount codes will be made available a few days prior to the event.
