Ruthin - Tri Dewi - Aquathlon

Ruthin TriStars is proud to be part of Triathlon Cymru's Tri Dewi project. We'll be hosting an Aquathlon on Sunday 1st March 2026, as part of a nationwide celebration of Swim, Bike, Run across Wales for St David's Day. Tri Dewi puts fun, welcome and local Welsh culture at the heart of every event, and it's open to everyone. There is a medal for everyone! Join us and be part of something special. This is a recreational event with no official timing; however, you can request to be in a wave with others if you are looking for personal competition.

Juniors (2pm. Age 6-15) Pool swim: 100m. Run: 2km.

Adults (3pm. Age 16+) Pool swim: 200m. Run: 4km.

You will need something to swim in (a trisuit or normal swimwear). Trisuits are fine for running too, but a T shirt will be needed over other swimwear. FOOTWEAR must be suitable: The run is on a grass field which will be slippery/muddy if wet – suitably grippy trainers or cross-country spikes are recommended.
