About Mizuno Swansea Half Marathon
The Mizuno Swansea Half Marathon is set to take place on Sunday 7 June 2026, welcoming runners of all levels for a 13.1‑mile challenge along Swansea’s scenic coastal roads. The event has grown into one of South Wales’ most popular road races, combining competitive racing with a fun, community atmosphere.
A Scenic Coastal Course:
Starting from the iconic Copr Bay bridge near Swansea Arena, runners will head towards Singleton, back through the City Centre passing the historic Brangwyn Hall and Castle ruins.
Runners will then continue towards the National Waterfront Museum, and head out to Mumbles with the lighthouse in view. Participants will enjoy 5 miles of stunning views across Swansea Bay before returning to the road at Brynmill Lane for the finishing straight at Swansea Arena.5
More Than Just a Race:
The half marathon weekend often includes shorter events, such as a 5‑mile run or family fun races, so people of all ages can take part. Spectators line the streets to cheer on runners, while water stations and entertainment points keep participants motivated along the way. Finishers receive commemorative medals, adding a memorable touch to the achievement.
With UK Athletics licensing and wheelchair-accessible routes, the Mizuno Swansea Half Marathon balances serious sport with a friendly, inclusive atmosphere — making it a highlight of the Welsh running calendar.
