About Worldchefs Congress & Expo 2026
From May 16-19, 2026, Newport, Wales will host Worldchefs Congress & Expo, a biennial event and global celebration, set to shape the future of food. For the first time in its 98-year history, the event will be held in the United Kingdom, making this a landmark moment for Wales.
Worldchefs Congress will unite hundreds of chefs, hospitality leaders, professionals, educators, and food lovers from across the globe. An exciting four-day program features insightful plenary sessions led by industry experts, Michelin-starred chefs, and internationally renowned speakers who will explore the latest trends, offer

The Worldchefs Congress & Expo 2026 will showcase the best of Welsh culture and hospitality. A special highlight will take place during the Opening Ceremony as Wales' own Katherine Jenkins, OBE, Cultural Ambassador of Wales and founder of Cygnet Gin, will perform, kicking off the four-day celebration.
