About Historic St David's Day Candlelit Supper at Llanerchydol Hall
On Saturday 28 February, Llanerchydol Hall opens its doors for a candlelit Welsh country supper celebrating St David's Day in one of Wales' most atmospheric historic homes.
Set in the countryside near Welshpool, this intimate evening brings together traditional Welsh food, music and literature in a refined yet deeply rooted celebration of national heritage. Guests will be welcomed with Welsh mead and bara brith bites with local cheese, followed by a seasonal menu showcasing Welsh produce, including slow-braised Welsh lamb with rosemary and garlic, and a vegetarian leek, Perl Wen cheese and hazelnut tart. Dessert will feature a Welsh apple and honey pudding.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy live Welsh harp music and readings from the work of Dylan Thomas, creating a rich cultural experience that honours Wales' culinary and artistic traditions.
This St David's Day supper offers a rare opportunity to experience Welsh heritage through food, music and story, in a historic country house setting.
