About Cardiff Food and Drink Festival
The
Cardiff Food and Drink Festival is one of Wales’ largest and most popular free food events, returning from
3rd to 5th July 2026 in the scenic setting of
Cardiff Bay.
Held at Roald Dahl Plass, the festival brings together over a hundred producers, street food traders, and artisan stallholders, offering everything from local Welsh delicacies to international cuisine. Visitors can explore the bustling Farmers’ Market, browse handmade goods in the craft stalls, and enjoy freshly prepared dishes at the lively Street Food Piazza overlooking the waterfront.
Beyond the food, the festival delivers a full programme of live music and entertainment across three days, creating a vibrant summer atmosphere for families, food lovers, and visitors to the Welsh capital. Celebrating both local produce and global flavours, it remains a highlight of the summer events calendar in Cardiff, attracting thousands each year.
