Welshpool Country Music Festival

Welshpool Country Music Festival is a fund raising event brought to you by the Heulwen Trust.

The Festival takes place over a lazy, music filled weekend on the Powis Estate Showground, which is a truly stunning location, enjoying spectacular views across the Severn Valley.

Don't miss the morning opening ceremony (Saturday and Sunday) by our Westerners who also close the Festival at 7pm on Sunday evening.

Live Music throughout the weekend.

Events on the showfield include line dancing, side shows, trade stands and plenty of refreshments.

The Mavericks Show Team - A western re-enactment group, stepping back in time to portray the Wild West, entertaining the public with living history and shoot-out shows.

Quick Draw - Test your reflexes with our quick draw contest to find out who can pull the trigger first and take the £100 bounty.

Thursday 16 July

• Opening of the festival and camping area
• Evening entertainment including performances by Kenny Junior
• Line dancing sessions and Cowboy Karaoke for visitors

Friday 17 July

• Live music performances in the evening
• Artists including Donna Wylde and Peter Shaw
• Line dancing and social entertainment in the Saloon stage marquee

Saturday 18 July

• Full day of live country musc: Richard Palmer * Ian Highland BanD * Derek Darby * Henry Smith Band * Delta Smoak * Steve Rutter * MT Allan
• Evening entertainment including Spread Your Wings and Steve Rutter

Sunday 19 July

• Final day of performances and closing ceremony
• Artists including Tanya Turner, Clint Bradley Band, Tony Rouse, Jeff Gallant Band, The Breeze, and a Shania Twain tribute act
• Traditional closing sing-along known as the “Trilogy” to end the festival
