Gŵyl Croeso brings Swansea city centre to life with a vibrant, family friendly celebration of St David's Day, showcasing the very best of Welsh culture, talent and creativity. The festival offers something for all ages, filling the streets with music, colour and culture.
The event includes live Welsh bands and choirs playing contemporary and traditional music throughout the event. A brand new Culture Tent will host Welsh poetry, comedy, appearances by beloved Welsh personalities, and hands on music workshops for all ages.
Food lovers can indulge in live cookery demonstrations from talented local chefs and well known TV favourites, celebrating the flavours of Wales. The festival market offers a mix of food and drink stalls alongside a curated Welsh craft market.
Families will find plenty to keep younger visitors entertained, with children's craft activities running throughout the day. The streets will also come alive with delightful walkabout characters, including towering stilted Welsh ladies, daffodils, and the festival's epic Welsh Dragon.
A St David's Day City Centre Parade will bring the streets to a stand-still in celebration in a proud and colourful display of Welsh spirit.
