Wonderwool Wales 2026 will return to the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells on 25–26 April 2026, celebrating its 20th year as one of the UK’s leading wool and natural fibre festivals.
Held across several large exhibition halls, the event brings together hundreds of exhibitors specialising in yarn, fleece, spinning, weaving, knitting and textile art. Visitors can browse hand-dyed yarns, raw wool, felting supplies, looms, spinning wheels and a wide range of craft tools and accessories. The festival attracts independent producers, small businesses and skilled makers from across Wales and beyond, making it a key date in the crafting calendar.
In addition to shopping, Wonderwool Wales is known for its strong educational focus. Demonstrations and workshops run throughout the weekend, giving attendees the chance to learn new techniques or refine existing skills. From traditional sheep breeds and fleece preparation to modern textile design, the programme reflects both heritage crafts and contemporary creativity.
The atmosphere is welcoming and community-focused, drawing everyone from experienced fibre artists to beginners curious about working with wool. With food stalls, seating areas and ample parking on site, the showground provides plenty of space to explore at a relaxed pace.
As it marks two decades in 2026, Wonderwool Wales continues to highlight the importance of wool production and textile traditions while inspiring a new generation of makers.
