About Swansea Christmas Parade
Swansea's Christmas Parade returns to light up the city this November, bringing an evening of festive magic, music and entertainment for all the family.
Following the success of the 2025 parade, which won Event of the Year at the National Outdoor Events Association Awards, families are invited to line the streets from 5pm on Sunday 22 November 2026 as Swansea kicks off the Christmas season in style.
More than 40 local organisations, schools and community groups will join the colourful procession, with festive floats, performers and much-loved characters making their way through the city centre. Look out for enchanting fairytale favourites, comic book heroes and festive performers, plus Santa and Mrs Claus waving to the crowds from their magical sleigh.
The festivities begin at Swansea's Guildhall with a special lighting display and fireworks before the parade travels along St Helen's Road, The Kingsway, College Street, Castle Street and Caer Street, finishing on Princess Way.
Live entertainment on stages at the Guildhall and outside the Dragon Hotel will keep the crowds entertained throughout the evening, before Santa officially illuminates the city centre by switching on Swansea's Christmas lights.
The celebrations finish with a spectacular fireworks display, bringing a magical evening in the city to a sparkling close.
Accessible viewing areas will be available at the Guildhall and on the lower part of The Kingsway at the St Helen's Road end, with no pre-booking required.
