About House of Eira Festival
House of Eira returns to the spectacular setting of Gwrych Castle, Abergele, for its second Castle Take-Over on Saturday 5 September 2026. The historic castle will be transformed into a huge dance music venue for ten hours of music, entertainment and festival atmosphere.
Running from 12 noon until 10pm, the festival will feature music across multiple areas of the castle, with a mix of house, techno, UK garage and drum & bass. The 2026 event is set to make greater use of the castle grounds, giving festival-goers more areas to explore alongside additional games and entertainment.
The line-up includes a strong selection of DJs, MCs and electronic music artists, with Hannah Wants, goddard., P Money, Dread MC, Carasel MC, Symmetrik, Campbell, Jak'N'Yak, Daiz, Holly Profit, Scintilla and Tech Noir, amongst others.
As well as the music, visitors can enjoy the unusual surroundings of Gwrych Castle, with stages, bars and entertainment areas set amongst the dramatic ruins overlooking the North Wales coast. The combination of electronic music and one of Wales' most recognisable castles makes this a festival with a setting quite unlike the usual outdoor music event.
Strictly 18 and over.
