About Grand Medieval Joust
Step back to 1507, when Carew Castle hosted the last great Medieval jousting tournament in Wales - and now the spectacle returns! Experience a thrilling weekend of pageantry, martial skill, and celebration.
Enjoy Skill at Arms demonstrations, the Arming of the Knight, authentic medieval encampments, combat and weaponry displays, traditional crafts, and have-a-go archery, all bringing the medieval world vividly to life.
The excitement builds to the main event: the joust! Cheer for your favourite horseman and marvel at the courage and skill of the knights as they clash in the arena. A truly unforgettable Medieval adventure for all ages!

Tickets: During this weekend, entry to the Castle is by pre-booked Joust ticket only.
Annual Pass Holders: Additional charges apply and tickets must be booked in advance.
Free local admission: this does not apply for this event; all visitors must purchase a ticket.
Included in your ticket: Entry to the Castle and Tidal Mill.
