About Forever Flowers 2026
Forever Flowers is City Hospice's award‑winning annual remembrance campaign, returning to Cardiff Castle for its sixth year. Supporters are invited to purchase and dedicate a handcrafted Pink Poppy, a symbol of compassion, love, peace and admiration, in memory of a loved one. More than a thousand beautiful metal poppies, created by the British Ironwork Centre, will form a stunning display within the castle grounds from 1–8 August.
Visitors can explore the display free of charge, take time to reflect, and be part of a meaningful community tribute. On Thursday 6 August, we will also host a free Celebration of Life event within the castle grounds, welcoming supporters and the wider community for an evening of remembrance and music, including performances from the Rock Choir.
Following the display, supporters can take their poppy home to cherish in a place that holds special meaning to them, creating a lasting tribute to the person they are remembering.
Forever Flowers supports the vital work of City Hospice, Cardiff's only provider of home‑based specialist palliative care, and offers people across Wales a heartfelt way to remember, celebrate, and honour those they cherish.
