About Santa Special at Corris Railway

The historic Corris Railway, with its long-standing links to the slate quarrying heritage of the Dulas Valley, provides a unique setting for Christmas celebrations.

The steam train will depart from Corris Station and travel through the beautiful valley to Maespoeth Junction, where Santa Claus and his helpers will be waiting to welcome visitors. Children will receive a gift from Santa, along with sweets and soft drinks, while adults can enjoy mince pies and a warm festive drink. Seasonal activities and refreshments will also be available.

The trip is a fantastic opportunity for families to enjoy a unique Christmas experience, combining a journey on a traditional steam train with the excitement of meeting Santa Claus. The railway's museum and shop will also be open, offering books, gifts, and Christmas cards.

Train departure times: 11:00am, 12:30pm, 2:00pm and 3:30pm.

Advance booking is essential.

Prices: Adults £10; children £12.50.
