About Cantref Adventure Farm
Cantref Adventure Farm is an award winning family adventure farm, riding centre and accommodation near Brecon in Bannau Brycheiniog / Brecon Beacons National Park which is also a Dark Sky Reserve. It offers a full day out with outdoor play, indoor soft play, a popular sledge ride, family boat ride, tractor rides and animal shows running roughly every half an hour, including pet handling, bottle feeding and other hands-on activities.
Across the year there are seasonal events such as Easter Eggstravaganza with Egg Hunts and Easter Bunny, a Pumpkin Festival, Santa’s grotto Christmas Experience and a children’s New Year’s Eve party.
You can also book VIP animal experiences for closer encounters like alpaca and goat walking, or head to the horse riding centre for treks and rides. Cantref offers rides other various lengths for different ages and abilities. We are the only centre licensed to ride on the main peaks of the Brecon Beacons and have been established for over 65 years.
On-site accommodation means you can turn a visit into a short break. From Holiday Cottages and Glamping Pods with wood fired hot tubs to camping pitches for tents and camper vans with electric hook up. The views from Cantref of the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains are stunning. Guests also get free entry into the farm park when it is open and can make use of the on-site cafe and gift shop.
Cantref suits families, groups and visitors of all ages. With lots of shows and attractions under cover it is a great all weather attraction. Dogs welcome.
