About Brecknock Wildlife Trust

The Brecknock has been operating for over 40 years, working for the protection of the wildlife habitats and species in the old county of Brecknock (now the southern third of Powys).

Now part of the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales, the Trust manages 18 nature reserves in Brecknock for the benefit of wildlife and for people to visit.
The Trust initiates and participates in both county and Wales wide conservation projects. Our activities include:

Species monitoring
Habitat surveys
Provide advice to landowners
Participate in community initiatives that benefit the environment
Organise events for education and awareness.

Our staff are often out on sites so please call/email to speak to a member of the team.
