About The Groggshop

For 60 years we at The Groggshop have been making our unique brand of handmade and hand painted figures from our small family business in South Wales.

Ranging from sporting heroes, film stars and musicians, dragons, miners and humorous sheep the Grogg Collection is ever changing and always growing. Each Grogg we make is lovingly hand modelled taking anything from 6 weeks to 6 months to complete. The master figure is then moulded, each cast piece finely hand crafted and meticulously hand painted. This ensures every Grogg we make is unique - a singular work of art.

The picture shows two Groggs of JPR Williams in our museum, one very old and groggy and one refined and smaller.
A great example of our evolution over 60 years. Grogg on the left is John's first JPR piece circa 1970 and Richard's latest piece of JPR made in 2025

Our shop also has a vast collection of rugby memorabilia, an extensive display of match worn shirts and small museum that highlights our 60 years of rugby crafting. A must see destination for visitors to our beautiful country and sports fans alike.
