About Kerry Vale Vineyard
Kerry Vale Vineyard Visitor Centre is a small, family run vineyard situated on the Welsh / English border. Planted in 2010 this award-winning vineyard is set in six acres of farmland at the eastern tip of the Kerry Vale - an area of outstanding natural beauty and just 3 miles south of the charming town of Montgomery on the Wales / England border.
VISITOR CENTRE SHOP & CAFE
The visitor centre is inspired by a dutch barn that once stood on the vineyard, and the purpose built Cellar Door shop welcomes visitors with its contemporary and modern design. The visitor centre shop offers a range of wines, an exclusive collection of guest wines, and a selection of locally produced food which can be gift-wrapped for that perfect present.
AFTERNOON TEA @ THE VINEYARD
In keeping with the beautiful surroundings of the vineyard and the customs of traditional Afternoon Tea, pretty vintage chinaware is used which perfectly complements the charm of the occasion.
Guests can enjoy an extensive selection of 8 different types of teas and herbal infusions. Indulge in finely cut sandwiches with classic fillings together with freshly baked scones with strawberry preserve and cream, followed by a delectable selection of delicious sweet treats.
Booking for afternoon tea is essential. Please make special dietary requirements known at the time of booking.
VINEYARD EXPERIENCE TOURS & WINE TASTING
Visitors can book tours of the vineyard, adopt a vine and purchase gifts and wine from the cafe and shop or order online.
Scheduled tours and wine tasting on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Bookings for private tours at other times by special arrangement.
