About Coast & Wild

Hello,

We are Jon and Noelle and we run a seaweed art studio and gallery on the northern Pembrokeshire coast, located in the village of Dinas Cross.

Our seaweed art is crafted from sustainably foraged, hand-pressed seaweed. We are mindful to collect only small amounts of loose floating seaweed or seaweed that has washed ashore. The seaweed is pressed similarly to how flowers are pressed, and once it is fully dried and pressed, we digitise it to create our fine art prints.

Our prints are showcased in our studio gallery year-round, and we welcome visitors Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10am to 4:30pm. If you wish to visit at a different time, feel free to try knocking on the door or call us at 07794 336670 to set up a convenient time. Entry to the studio is free.

We are more than happy to explain the entire process and share which local beaches are ideal for finding the various types of seaweed we use, all of which is sourced from beaches within half a mile of our location. So, after visiting us, there’s no reason you can’t enjoy a quick forage of your own.
