Enjoy an exciting and exhilarating boat trip around Ramsey Island, that lasts up to an hour and a half. You’ll see wonderful views of the coastline and cliffs that you can’t get from anywhere else, along with basking or swimming seals, aerobatics from the seabirds and maybe even porpoises and dolphins, too. Not only is our trip great fun, with high-speed sprints on the water, it’s also educational too, with so much to learn about the island and the wildlife, making for a perfect experience for kids on holiday and for school trips, as well as for the whole family to enjoy - dogs included!

St Davids dolphin Experience

Relax and enjoy up to three hours at sea around the beautiful Ramsey Island looking for whales and dolphins and then out to the amazing gannet colony at Grassholm Island.

Aquaphobia’s Skomer Island Boat Experience
From April until mid-July, you can enjoy the trip across St Brides Bay to Skomer Island (Ynys Sgomer in Welsh). Depart from St Justinian's and enjoy the stunning scenery during the two-hour sail to Skomer, we observe the numerous birds in north haven before heading back to Ramsey sound. There are 10,000 pairs of puffins on the Island, and you’ll love watching their antics, along with Manx Shearwaters, guillemots, cormorants, razorbills, gannets and more. Look out for seals sunning themselves on the rocks, and porpoises, too. You might be lucky and spot a pod of dolphins playing in the waves. You’ll definitely want to bring your camera and take endless photos to remind you of this amazing experience.

Ramsey Island is spectacular, with towering cliffs humming with life as seabirds nest and raise their young, beautiful coves and bays where seals bask, feed and raise the next generation of pups and very curious seals and porpoises who want to look at you as much as you want to look at them. We even sometimes get porpoises coming right up to the boat!

Ramsey Island Night Boat Trip Experience

If you’re an ornithology enthusiast or just love getting out on the water, you can’t do better than our entertaining and educational night boat trips in the summer to see the incredible and intriguing Manx Shearwaters on Ramsey Island. The Shearwater is an amazing bird that spends its days out on the water, flying just ten metres above the ocean, before returning to Ramsey Island at night to nest, often using burrows dug by rabbits.

The duration of our boat trips is one and a half hours, including exhilarating high-speed sprints across open water, and plenty of opportunity to see wildlife at very close quarters on the cliffs and in caves on the west side of Ramsey Island.
