About Anglo Welsh Waterway Holidays
Anglo Welsh offers narrowboat holiday hire for short breaks, weekly breaks or longer, with a range of comfortable boats available for all party sizes. In addition to holidays, Anglo Welsh offers day boat hire for up to 10 passengers. The delightful town of Llangollen is only a two-hour cruise away, or your clients could navigate the Llangollen Canal to Chirk and back on board a day boat to experience one of the UK’s most stunning stretches of inland waterway. Tuition is provided, so all are welcome from novices to experienced boaters.
Anglo Welsh also offers 45-minute skippered return trips across the aqueduct on board the Trip Boat "Seren Fach". With capacity for up to 48 passengers and refreshments available on board, this trip is a fantastic way sit back, relax and experience the stunning views across the Dee Valley.
From 1 April to 30 September 2023, "Seren Fach" will be operating five trips every day, firmly establishing the trip boat as a ‘must do’ experience at this incredible World Heritage site.
Trips will depart at 11am, 12 noon, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm

From Monday 3 April to Monday 10 April, our ‘Little Star’ trip boat will be operating special Easter-themed skippered cruises across the UNESCO World Heritage Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, with the chance to meet the Easter Bunny on board.
Departing at 11am, 12 noon, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm, the 45-minute return special Easter trips will take passengers across the incredible 38-metre-high Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, to enjoy amazing views across the Dee Valley. Children aged under 16 will be offered a free Easter treat.
